 How To Create A Coinbase Account




 Always check that automated emails come from 'no-reply@coinbase.com'. Do not reply to or click on any links in emails without this address to set up your account


What you'll need

  • Must be at least 18 years old (we will ask for proof)
  • Government issued photo ID (we do not accept passport cards)
  • a computer or smartphone connected to the Internet
  • The phone number associated with your smartphone (we will send SMS via SMS)
  • The latest version of your browser (we recommend Chrome) or the latest version of the Coinbase app. If you are using the Coinbase app, make sure your phone's operating system is up to date.

1. Create your account

Visit https https://www.coinbase.com/join/kumar_3lv  from your computer's browser or download and open the Coinbase app on Android or iOS to get started.



·      Click or tap Start.

·        You will be asked for the following information. Important: Enter accurate, timely information to avoid any problems.

·       Full legal full name (we will ask for proof)

·        Address Email address (use one that you can access)

Word Password (Write it down and save it in a safe place)

State your state (we will ask for proof)

·       Read the agreed User Agreement and Privacy Policy.

·        Check the box and click on Create Account (System) or tap Sign Up (Mobile) if you agree.

·        Register Coinbase will send a verification email to your registered email address.

 

2. Verify your email

In the email you received from Co Coinbase.com, select Verify Email Address. This email is from no-reply@coinbase.com.

 

Clicking on the link in the email will take you to Coinbase.com.

 

You will need to sign in again with your recently entered email and password to complete the email verification process.

 

You will need the phone number associated with your Coinbase account to successfully complete 2-Step Verification.

 


 


 

3. Verify your phone number

  • Log in to Coinbase. You will be asked to add a phone number.
  • Choose your country
  • Number Enter the mobile number.
  • Click Send Code (Computer) or tap Continue (Mobile).
  • Enter the seven-digit currency code to send the text message along with your phone number in the phone file. 
  • Click Submit or tap Continue.

 


If you haven't received the code, select Reseller-SMS.

 

4. Add your personal information

 


 

 

·        Enter the valid information provided with your valid government-issued photo ID - you will then need to submit a photo of this ID.

    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Address

·        You have to answer the following questions:

    • What do you use Coinbase for?
    • What is your source of funds?
    • Current Occupation
    • Employer
    • Last 4 digits of SSN

·        Select Continue to complete the final process.




·        This completes the application process. Please wait until we receive further instructions via email.

5. Verify your identity

 

1.      Sign in to your Coinbase account.

2.      Complete ID verification.

Recommended: Set up 2-Step Verification Utility (TOTP) to help protect against unauthorized account access.
